Aunt Doris you were an amazing woman! God broke all of our hearts the day you departed this Earth but God only takes the best, and it is ONLY he that makes no mistakes! The night you left us I still asked God why? I snapped back into reality and vividly remembered you telling me "you never question God's work honey." Thanks for the good times! You were such an inspiration to us all. You fly high, my angel!

Doris, her family and mine go back many, many years. We haven't seen each other in quite some time but we have always kept in touch with each other as good friends should. I will miss not speaking to her,but knowing she is in a better place along with her beloved Wilton, will give us all great comfort. May God in his infinite wisdom bless her and forgive her sins and welcome her with open arms. AMEN

Mother Doris was diagnosed with pancreas cancer on 5/28/10 and she died July 1st.
My Brother and I took care of her at home through her illness until she went peacefully home to the Good Lord.
We were truly Blessed to have had this truly remarkable woman as our Mother.
She was shy with a very kind demeanor, yet strong and very protective of the ones she loved. Mother encouraged everyone to “do their best and let God do the rest”. She truly was the wind beneath all of our wings.
My Brother & I were so Blessed to witness her transition to her Father in Heaven. We were both holding her hands when she took her last breath and slipped into eternity. Mother looked up and then closed her eyes and her face was very serene.
I thank the Lord and all his mercy for granting us peace in our time of bereavement.
We would like to thank everyone that came by the house, gave or did something special and/or attended the beautiful and uplifting “Celebration of Life” Service.
If you attended the Church Service you were truly Blessed.
We love you all and may God continue to Bless and keep you all the days of your life.
Sincerely,
De’Nise Kemp-Lott & Family

Mom Mom, Mom Mom, Mom Mom. Where do I begin. You have always been on my mind and still are and will continue to be. I love you always. You will be missed by all who had the pleasure to get to know you and your kind soul. A giver, a lover, a comedian, a fighter and definately a protector. You are so beautiful in this life and I am sure in the next. Say "hi" to all of our people for us in Heaven. P.S. put in a good word for the rest of us struggling down here. I know you will. I hope you enjoyed your wonderful service because it was truly fitting of the queen and the angel that you are. I thank the Lord for you and will continue to pray for your soul to be at perfect peace where we all aspire to be when our numbers are called. I know you are watching over us with those extra set of eyes that you wore so cutely. Where has the time gone? I don't know but I am sincerely glad to have had it with you. We will meet again. Thanks for the unforgettable memories, Mom Mom Doris Frances Turner Kemp. God bless you for all of eternity. Love you, honey, Your grandboy, Booper aka Clinton & family. xoxoxoxo

Memorial Service for Mom-Mom on Friday, July 22nd at Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum by the Lake @ 10:00AM It was a year on July 1st that you slipped into eternity. We all miss you so much but we know that you are in a much better place now. I will cherish all the good times and the Mother-Daughter talks we had. Especially the laughter. You would always make us laugh by doing or saying something funny. You could always take a struggle and turn it into something good! Today my heart is heavy because I miss you so much. We always said "no one loves you more than Mom-Mom" and that statement is so true. I pray that I will be able to see your face and hug you again when my time comes to leave this earth. Love you! Two years ago today MOM you went home to be with the Lord. I know you loved me more than life itself. I remember the times when you would go without so that I could have what I "wanted". I never "needed" because you and Daddy always provided my every need. I Love and miss you so much! Forever R.I.P.....Love your only Daughter....NeeSee

Dear Mom , Ithink of you every day. Miss your holiday spirit. I remember how you would always prepare months in advance to be sure we all got money for Christmas. You always like to give us money so we could buy what we really wanted. As we prepare to enter a new year I am reminded of one of your "old wise tails" for the new year...you'd say "don't come over until a man comes through the front door" on New Year's Day! I don't know how true that is but I will continue that tradition...Love you and miss you much. NeeSee
