William B.
was born on November 20, 1940; the eldest of seventeen children, in Marion, South Carolina to Rahael Austin. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
In 1946, he relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he attended Ben Franklin High School.
He was employed at Jefferson University Hospital for some years and retired from Kearney School after 31 years of service.
His hobbies were watching classic television shows, such as the western cowboys, which he loved. He also loved music and taking pictures.
William is survived by his mother, Rachael Davis; five sisters, Daisy Robinson, Maggie Davis, Classel Davis, Rachel Hall and Sandra Davis; two brothers-in-law, David Hall and Bobby Davis and a host of nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
