My mom was such a caring person, beautiful spirit, and wonderful mother. There's not a day that goes bye that I don't think about her; I already miss seeing and talking to you. I have only known Grandma Ollie for about seven years now. When I met her she greeted me and my family with open arms. She loved me and my girls as if we were her own. It was always a pleasure to get to sit and talk to her. She was a beautiful, loving, and caring person. She was very proud of her family and this was evident by the pictures she surrounded herself with. Our time together was brief, but meaningful. It was a blessing to know her. You will be missed by us all, we love you.

As we know, this life we live begins and ends with God. We are here today to rejoice and celebrate the life of Ollie Mae Jackson. We are so blessed that God created you Grandma. He makes no mistakes. It is because of you we are all here, your children and your grandchildren. Our hearts may feel heavy with sadness today. But we must and will grieve. This is our way. It's our way of getting rid of the sadness. Please know, she wouldn't want us to be sad. She would rather have us get up and start dancing, rejoicing & praising the lord. I know she would be doing the same thing because... She has no more pain to cry out about! No more bills to think about! No more worries to worry about! This is because her God, your God, all of our God has finally set her free! Our Grandmother, would want you to know. She was a child of God who served him faithfully. She would've wanted you to know that she knew this life was only a Temporary Assignment. Our Grandmother was a dedicated Christian woman preparing herself for eternal life. The Bible says, " This world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven". So, today should be a day not of sadness, but a day full of joy and celebration. Our Grandmother, your mother, your sister in Christ and your dear friend Ollie Mae Jackson has finally gone home. "The things we see are here today and gone tomorrow. But, the things we cannot see now will last forever". May God Keep You & Bless You, Amen
