To Alicia and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with "Butch" as our Minister of Music at Mt. Zion Baptist church many years ago. May time soothe your soul and bring you peace within as he would want you to be happy as you begin again.

Butch you are AMAZING and you will be missed by everyone that you've touched and inspired. Thank you for pulling me out of the shadows while in the college choir. You saw me when I felt invisible you challenged me to step outside of myself to sing and be heard. I know, I know it was a battle LOL but I did it and I am better for it today :-) You will be a part of my memories forever. God's blessings to your family may they be wrapped up in God's love to shield them from some of the hurt.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and amongst those who are perishing.”
May the fragrance of Christ through the prodigious ministerial Music of William “Butch” Oatman, Sr. and Ministry continue to diffuse (manifest) in every place, in Jesus Name. As we reflect on the years at the “Powerhouse” serving God together. Admirably unto the family of Bishop-Elect Butch & Lady Alicia Oatman, lovingly condolences extended from Nay, Tashiva, Ke’ and Elder Kathryn.
