Obituary of Timothy Gerard Deal

Timothy Gerard Deal, age 32, was born on December 28, 1985 in Atlantic City Hospital, Atlantic City, NJ; to Gloria Deal and Michael King. He departed this earthly life suddenly on June 22, 2018.

Timothy, lovingly known as “Tim” and “Phella”, attended the Atlantic City public schools and graduated in 2004. He loved to sing and had an amazing voice. He was a loving and devoted son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. His family was his world. He lit up any room he walked into with his beautiful smile and had the kindest heart. He was always there to give advice, be a listening ear, or a crying shoulder.

He was a go-getter and his adventurous nature drove him. Anything he had an inkling to do, he had the courage to try. He tried out for America’s Got Talent; opened a business with his sister and was always willing to relocate to find adventure. He loved to cook and try new dishes.

He is predeceased by: his grandmothers, Mae Deal and Delores Wiggins; grandfathers, Eugene Deal and Pedro Ortiz; great uncle, Marshall Moses (Jane); great aunts, Emily Howard and Rhuby Jackson and aunt, Regina Rowe.

Leaving to mourn him: his mother, Gloria Deal; father, Michael King; sisters, Ambura Deal (Lamont Wynn), Tria King, Alicia King and Caprice Washington; brothers, Anthony Deal, Michael King, Jr. and Inspiration Blackwell; ten nieces and five nephews; his Goddaughter, Jasiya Elliott; great aunts, Josephine Hitch (Columbus), Shirley Adams and Valerie Durr; aunts, Lisa Thompson (Johnnie), Patrice Molley (Ben), Renee Aikens (Barnett), Carmen Wiggins (Bobby), Maiva Huggans (Vincent) and Rochine Wyatt; uncles, Sidney Deal, Harry Deal (Laura), Charles Deal (Lisa), Charles Wynn, Gregory Deal (Brenda), John Wiggins (Antoinette) and Asa King; Godbrother, Willie Weather; Godsisters, Ja’kairs Bacote and La’sheera Barbary. Tim also leaves a host of other family members and friends to mourn his loss.
