Obituary of Devin Wilton Kemp
Devin W. Kemp, affectionately known as "Sparky", was born on June 14, 1953, to the late Doris (nee Turner) and Wilton Kemp in Riverside, New Jersey. He departed this life on August 10, 2017, at the age of 64.
Devin was educated in the Riverside school system. Shortly after graduation, he attended school for air conditioning and refrigeration. He also held various jobs before securing a position with Riverside Township Public Works, where he worked for over 33 years.
Devin accepted Christ at an early age and attended Sunday School regularly at First Baptist Church in Riverside. He later attended Saints Memorial Community Church in Willingboro.
Devin loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved family, always checking on them, especially on their birthdays. He knew everybody's birthday, even movie stars.
Devin leaves to cherish his loving memories; his two daughters, Mimi Mincer and Delisha Kemp; two sisters, DeNise' Kemp-Lott, and Elaine Edmonds (Teddy); his nephews, Clint, Marc, Christopher and Gary; an uncle, Jack Kemp; his devoted friend and mother of Delisha, Debra Wright; his grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
