Obituary of Karen Avon Fletcher
Karen Avon Fletcher was born in Philladelphia, PA on Tuesday, May 28,1963 to Edward A. Fletcher, Sr. and Ernestine Mitchell. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
Karen was raised in Williamstown. NJ where she attended the local public school system, graduation from Williamstown High School.
Karen worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for most of her nursing career. She had that special love for helping the sick. She was a woman of God and she loved the Lord. While in church, she couldn't sit down when the praise music started. Now, when it came to singing, she couldn't sing her way around a wet paper bag, but that didn't stop her, she loved to sing.
Karen was always filled with laughter, a funny, loving person. She had a smile that lit up a room. She loved her family, the crazies and the special ones ( You know who you are ) lol. But without a doubt, true love is what you recieved from Karen, aka Consuela or Suela as she was affectionately known. She knew her way around the kitchen could make a mean pasta dish and best fried chicken.
Karen loved up hard on her children Manny and Posie also Felicia and Kesha who she raised also. She was a loving and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine and brother Anthony Fletcher.
Karen will be sadly missed by so many. Those left to cherish her memories; her son, Emanuel Small II; her daugher, Rosetta Parnell; her father, Edwrad A. Fletcher, Sr. (Linda); two brothers, Edwrad A. Fletvher and Curtis E.
