Obituary of Leslie Sharee Gloster

Leslie Sharee Gloster was born on June 4, 1970 to the late Roosevelt and Naomi Gloster at the Kessler Hospital, Hammonton, New Jersey, where she was the 12th born of 14 children. Leslie attended the Winslow Township school district and completed her education at Camden County Vocational School, where she graduated in 1988. Early in her life, she was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Since then, Leslie was an active member in the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ where she was singing and directing choirs, as well as a soloist. Leslie remained active in the church until she became ill in late 2001. This left her with some challenges, but she always had a praise for the Lord. Even though she was in a wheelchair, she didn't allow her disability to stop her from being a mother to her two children, Kayode and Kalila. Leslie was their mother first, but was also considered a great friend to them. No matter what happened in her life, she always found a way to smile and laugh all the way to the very end. Leslie was predeceased by her parents, Roosevelt Sr. and Naomi Gloster; sisters, Rovetta, Carol Mobley and Deidre; brother Jeffrey. She leaves her loving memory with her son, Kayode and daughter, Kalila; sisters, Sharon, Valerie, Dawn, Tracy and Yolanda; brothers, Roosevelt Jr., Marcel, Keith and Leland; two brothers-in-law, Alvin Mobley and John Pegram and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Also a very special and close friend, Shante Brockington, Leslie's nurse for 14 years.
