Obituary of Robert Eric Fortune

Robert Eric Fortune was born on March 15, 1957. He was the second born to the late Robert R. and the late Lillian M. Fortune. Robert received his education in the Philadelphia School system. Robert had a love for cars which led him to become an auto mechanic and later a top-notched automobile detailer. Robert had a great love for people which was shown in his care-giving abilities. Robert married Denise Wanzer on December 21, 2006. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, sister Eunice M. McNeil and brother James V. Thornton. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Denise; his sons, Eric A. (Sharmain) and Cory (Kanshya) Fortune; eight grandchildren, Anfee, Kato, Eric Jr., Amina, Kourtney, Damir, Jaqanna and Tyrie; four sisters, Gloria D. Johnson, Rose M. Andrews, Deborah and Janet Fortune; two aunts, Carrie Haughton and Geneva Walton; eight brothers-in-law, Richard D. Johnson Sr., Randolph Johnson, Joseph (Denise) Johnson, Edward, Mark and Wallace Wanzer, Bobby (Grace) Hawkins and Rasheed (Fareedah) Abdul-Hamid; five sisters-in-law, Patricia, Alvinia and Deborah Wanzer, Barbara (Bill) Robinson, Linda (Julian) King; two step-children, James and James Tice; his best friend Tokay Elliott and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
