Obituary of James Williams Washington

Washington, James Williams, affectionately known as "Jim", was born on August 27, 1954. He departed this life on Sunday, March 21, 2010. Jim grew up and attended school in Berlin. He graduated from Edgewood High School in the class of 1972. He had many jobs throughout his lifetime; including that of a laborer in the construction field. Jim joined Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age and was the third candidate to be Baptized in the new Baptism Pool. We we all miss Jim and his loving ways. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Mrs. Martha Still; his brother, Joseph Washington; his sister, who was with him through it all, Patricia Still-Coley; his daughter, Cheryl Williams; his nephew, Keith Still; his niece, Allegra Bingham; his aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family and friends who loved him and will miss him forever. Services will be held 11am Friday, March 26, 2010, at Green Grove Baptist Church, 240 Cushman Avenue, West Berlin, where friends may call from 9am. Burial in East Berlin Memorial Cemetery, West Berlin.
