Obituary of Joyce Marie Clark-Peed

Joyce Marie Peed, of Trevose, Pa passed into God's eternal care on September 17, 2014 at the age of 55. Joyce was the youngest daughter of the late Carl E. and Mary Clark. Joyce attended Our Lady of Mercy in Philadelphia until 1966 when the family moved to Trevose, Pa. She continued her education at Saint Christopher's in the Somerton section of Philadelphia until graduation and the remainder of her education was in the Bensalem Township Schools. In 1983, Joyce had a brief marriage to Manuel Mendez and there were no children born of this union. In 1966, Joyce married Tyrone Peed and they were married 18 years. There were no children born to this union but Joyce raised Tyrone's daughter Turquoise. Joyce worked for many years in Food Service as a cook. Joyce loved to cook. Joyce loved dogs, singing, dancing, sewing and having a good time. Although Joyce was baptized catholic, she spent a lot of her younger years as well as recently at Saint Matthews. Joyce leaves to cherish her memory: Husband, Tyrone Peed; daughter, Turquoise Peed; two sisters Joanne James (Frank) and Avis M. Clark; one aunt, Frances Sessoms; one uncle Issac Sanders, mother-in-law Geraldine Peed; Two sisters Rochelle peed and veronica Graham; one brother-in-law vernon reed; three grandchildren Rahmir, Miracle Dass and Gianni Peed; four nephews David, Aereus, Breon Clark and Lamont Howard; two nieces, Delilah, Deja Clark and a host of other relatives and friends.
