Obituary of Lloyd Allen Carter

Lloyd Allen Carter was born on July 26, 1962 in Camden, New Jersey. Lloyd attended the local public school system of Camden City, graduating from Camden High School, class of 1980. After graduating from high school, Lloyd attended Eckerd and Cheney University, majoring in marine biology and pre-med. Lloyd was a "science nut". He knew anything and everything about science. He also was an excellent writer and loved to play chess. On Saturday, February 1, 2014, Lloyd accepted God's call to be absent from the body and to present with the Lord. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Richard C. Carter. Along with fondly cherished memories, Lloyd leaves behind his son, Richard C. Mitchell; his mother, Joyce E. Carter; his close and special cousins, Dr. Linda St. Martin (Carl), Kevin Barney (Kelly), Calvin Smith and Dr. Wanda Cousar (Ron); his aunts and uncles, Barbara J. Daniels (Willie), Bruce Carter, Catherine Wimberly (Odell), Joan Tisby, Alfreda Saunders (Sonny), Elaine Craig, Arnold Craig, Robert Barney and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Spencer and Keith.
