Rose E. Leggett, daughter of the late Herman Yates and Mary E. Washington, was born on February 14, 1923.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she grew up in Camden, NJ and attended the Camden City Public school system.
Rose met the love of her life, the late Sylvester Leggett and raised their children.
Rose had worked for Leader Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Manor Care) of Cherry Hill until her illness.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Harris; sisters, Dorothy Mitchell and Georgeanna Fisher.
Rose leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Harriet Bryant; her grandchildren, Denise Yates and Joseph Yates; three great grandchildren, Tina, Jamal and Qianna; three great great grandchildren, Hassan, Jamal Jr. and Hasna and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
