Juanita parker affectionately known as "Wolf" was born on August 24, 1933 in Winchester, Tennessee to the late L.B. Short and Lizzie Carter. She met a service man, named Matthew Parker and married him on July 12, 1957. Matthew brought her and her son, Stovier to Camden, NJ where they lived for many years. They soon settled into their home in Pennsauken, NJ where she resided until her death. Juanita took care of her family while her husband served in the Air Force. Family was so important to her; she put her children first and foremost, always taking in foster children into her comforting home. Juanita worked in Camden, NJ at Low Chop Suey Chinese Restaurant for many years then went onto retire from J&J Snack Foods in Pennsauken, NJ. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Riverside, Eastren Star and was an illustrious Commandress with Zamora Court # 35. She enjoyed and attended all activities that the church and organizations held. Juanita loved her children and family dearly. Never turning anyone away and always asking if we were in need. She was a loving wife, adoring mother, caring grandmother, wonderful aunt and faithful friend, sister-in-law and sister. Her kindness grew on who ever knew her and made sure everyone was doing well. Juanita was called home on August 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her son, Stovier Parker, daughter, Tacie Parker and grandson Devon parker. She leaves to cherish her memory husband of 50 years, Matthew, her children, Ronald Smith (Charlene), Ernestine Vega (Alberto), Danniel Parker (Kathy), Yvette Parker ( David). Her dear grandchildren, Kevin, Kelsey, Ronnie, Lakeya, Stephanie, Shane, Gabrielle, LaMar, and Cameron. She had ten great-grandchildren. One sister, Doris Simmons of Winchester, TN, two brother-in-laws, Pastor Lonnie Parker of Riverside, NJ and Robert Parker (BooBoo) of the Philippines, three sister-in-laws, Penny Parker of Riverside, NJ, Betty Parker of Riverside, NJ and Helen Parket of the Philippines and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She held a special place in her heart for her granddaughter Amber Parker and her niece Kelli Parker. She was so proud of Amber and it made her smile until the end.
