Richard H. Talley departed this life on April 27, 2013. Richard H. Talley was born on August 18, 1937 to the late Walter and Nannie Talley, Richard was the sixth of twelve children. Years later, the Talley family relocated to West Atco, New Jersey.
Richard attended elementary school and high school years in Philadelphia public schools. There after, he decided to join the United States Army in Denver, Colorado for several years and received an Honorable Discharge.
Richard met and married Leola Scott in 1979 and out of this union they had 5 children.
At a young age, Richard Talley accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
Richard worked at Ancora State Hospital and then Mrs. Paul's and in between he also was a self-employed plumber. He finally retired from McDonald's franchise and he was still able to do plumbing work up until his illness.
In spare time, Ricahrd enjoyed watching football with his best friend, Christopher Smith and fishing with his friend Willie Smith. He also enjoyed playing spiritual music on his organ in his home or his front porch.
Preceding him in death was his mother and father, Nannie and Walter Talley; his sister, Lucy Talley and three brothers, Danny, James and Raymond Talley.
In honor of his memory, he leaves to mourn his wife, Leola Talley; five children, Harry Barnes, Christina (Robert) Cooks, Mark Harmon, Carletta (Traci) Clayton and Claudia Talley; Seven grandchildren, Vernon, Frankie, Thomas, Myisha, Lawrence, Joshua and Brianna; four great grandchildren, Ka'mya, Tajanae, Jahil and Nylah; one sister, Sandra Brown; four brothers, Ronald, Albert, Leon and John Talley; fseven sisters-in-law, Pearl, Marlene and Janet Talley, Theresa Singleton, Willie Mae Scott, Zula Mae Scott, and Bernice Scott; four brothers-in-law, Author Singleton, Lawrence, Earl and Simon Scott and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
