Helen Marie Williams Jackson closed her eyes forever on July 26, 2023, at the age of 88. Helen was the youngest daughter of Helen B. and Ellis L. Williams. She was born on September 16, 1935 in Mt. Holly Burlington County Hospital. Helen spent her younger years in East Riverton, NJ, graduating from Palmyra High School in 1954. Her older sister Marietta Williams preceded her in death on January 15, 1984. In June of 1942, she was affiliated with St. Paul Baptist Church of East Riverton, NJ. After high school, Helen moved to Montclair, NJ to live with her late Aunt and Uncle Dorothy and Russell Rumble, where she commuted to New York City to Pagano’s Studios working as a fashion stylist. Helen went on to become a world-renowned Fashion Model. On September 30, 1977, she married Norman Jackson. After moving from New York, they spent 40 years together living in Riverton, NJ. Many lovely hours were spent in their beautiful flower garden. This garden was opened for show yearly during the Riverton Garden Tour. Norman preceded Helen in death on October 8, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memory, God Daughter Laurie Edmond (Cory), the Blackstone family, Barbara Jackson, Emmett H. Williams, Jr. (Judy), Melvin B. Williams (Betty), Osa F. Meekins, Margaret A. Womack (Frank), Diane Edmonds, William H. Meekins (Sandy) and a host of other family members and friends, including her good friend, Henry Castro.
