I attended ORHS with Ritchie. We were both ORHS '67. Unfortunately, I never knew him well but, I knew who he was & he always seemed to be a nice guy. I remember him through the great football player that he was. Like a lot of our classmates, I went to all our games & remember him on the field as he & the team took us to an undefeated season & won the 1966 Olympic Conference God Bless & RIP, Ritchie

We played football together on the 1966 undefeated Overbrook Rams. I have clippings of those games we played and Rich was in all of them. He was the best of the best running backs to come out of that school.
I send my condolences his family and friends.

My condolences to the family. Rich was indeed a great guy that I first met in 8th grade, followed through high school sports, and was delighted to cross paths again with when he went to work at Langston for a spell after his work at OCF. I smile with remembrance as I recall at some point offering him a different position and he just crossed his arms and smiled…as he immediately passed on it. He said he loved doing forklift, that he had his life all established and was quite happy with where it was, and added maybe someone could use that other job more. Quite a guy! RIP Richie.

I extend my sincere condolences to the Harrison family. I went all through school with Richie, as we called him back in the day, starting in elementary school in Lindenwold. He was a really nice guy, a sharp dresser, and a great football player. He helped take the ORHS football team to the state Championship in 1966! May all of your memories take you through this difficult time, and bring random smiles as you recall his life's events. Rest in peace, Richie

Dad was a wonderful granfather and just an amazing man. My grandmother and dad had a good relationship especially when it came to sports. Dad loved the Eagles and my grandmother did not. Whenever the Eagles would lose my grandmother was all about letting dad know his team stunk really bad whether the team did good or not. My fav memory of dad is a picture I have of him and Ashley fishing together out on a boat enjoying time together! My grandmother passed four years ago this March I know she will see Dad in Heaven to start up on him about the Eagles !
