Obituary of William A James

William A. James, aka, “Willy J”, was born December 27, 1987 in Stratford, NJ to Gladys D. James and Carl Williams. William attended Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ and excelled at playing football, baseball and basketball with the Pine Hill Youth Association throughout his childhood. William loved baseball the best. William worked as a pool technician installing and maintaining in ground pools and you could always stop by the garage for a fresh cut. William was always bigger than the body that tried to hold him. So his spirit always overflowed all around us. He laughed hard, played hard and loved deeply. He always gave his all. William leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother, Gladys Hansley (Charles); his grandmother Maggie Russell; great uncle, Franklin Daniel (Veronica); two brothers, Welton A. James (Pamela) and Lawrence Williams; his fiance’, Larissa Schaeffer and her children, Destinee and Nicole; two nieces, Keaira Williams and Rylee James and nephew, Izaiah Williams. He was preceded in death by his PopPop, Roland Russell. He also leaves a host of volunteer brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. We will all miss and cherish him always.
