My grandmother was simply put the best!! Her kindness, love of family and generosity towards others was truly amazing. She taught us all to be respectful of others, work hard but "smart" and live your dreams. She lived a full life, blessed to be loved by all and she wanted for nothing. I shared countless conversations and memorable moments with Grandma that either had you laughing while gaining knowledge all at the same time. Her mind was sharp and quick and to spend time with her was a joy. As a child my day started usually with a visit to the house on my way to see a friend or two. The day he day would always end with another stop at Grandmom's! Rest in Peace Grandmom you will be remembered as simply the best!! I use to say I will be at the "house" everyone knew where that was, lol. I am extremely fortunate to have had you in my life and more fortunate that you gave me my mom. I will LOVE YOU Always Rodney Jr.

Grandmom, although we will forever now be apart, you will ALWAYS remain in my heart. You have taught me so many life lessons, shown me the strength of a woman, and instilled in me pride of self, family, and how to conduct myself in this world. For the rest of my life I will use what you and mom have taught me to be the very BEST that I can. We will work at continuing the legacy you have left and as a family we will be there for each other.
